Students from backward areas are often
mocked upon for their inability to converse in proper English. I recently had
an opportunity to meet such a student. Though only in class one, he loved his
books and pointed out his favourite, Knowledge Update, for its “nice pictures
and content”. Priced at Rs.130, the book is written by Ajay Shrivastava and is
